Happiness Is...

Happiness: the quality or state of being delighted, pleased, or glad, as over a particular thing: to be happy to see a person.

This is a very...unalive, mundane definition I would think. I read this definition and I thought "Ah, my friends and I can come up with better definitions that that."

What does happiness mean to you?

Here are some of my ideas:

Happiness is...playing on the Playland at McDonalds when you're too tall.

Happiness is...kissing in the rain.

Happiness is...waking up to the smell of coffee.

Happiness is...watching the stars on the roof of your house.

Happiness is...driving an expensive car too fast (and not crashing it!)

Happiness is...receiving hugs from old people. Happiness is...helping others.

Happiness is...being proud of who you are.

Happiness is...sleeping in.

Happiness is...being appreciated when you thought no one was watching.

Happiness is...a fantastic dinner at a classy restaurant.

Happiness is...being pampered.

Happiness is...receiving flowers "just because"

Happiness is...bumping into someone you have been thinking about.

Happiness is...getting kisses on the cheek from a little kid.

Happiness is...smiling for no particular reason.

Happiness is...loving others and being loved.
